Has served the Government of India at various levels including at apex level of policy planning & implementation. Was Private Secretary ( Joint Secy) to the 13th President of India; Joint Secretary ( Min of Home Affairs) for Border Management & Internal Security II wings wherein dealt with issues of Management of Land & Coastal borders and Islands; Officer on Special Duty (OSD) for Indigenisation & related matters in the Dept of Def Prodn. in Min of Defence (drafted Indigenisation Policy & facilitated Industry in Indigenisation. Was Govt Nominee Director on the Board of DPSU Hindustan Shipyard Ltd). Private Secy /Officer on Special Duty ( Aide) to the Union Ministers of Defence, External Affairs and Finance wherein was mainly responsible for the Group of Ministers(GOMs) and Empowered GoMs etc; Director(Min of Def) wherein dealt with issues of Initiating Reforms in Defence Management, Tri Services, Cyber Security Policy, Indo US Cyber Security Forum, MoD Annual Report, Capital Procurements for Army (DAC), Implementation of Report of GoM on Reforms in National Security, dealt with issues of Revolution in Military Affairs (RMA) at Ministry level. Op Parakram etc. Participated in several Bilateral and Multilateral meetings in India & abroad in pursuance above assignments.
While in field, have worked in Plant Engineering and Production functions in various units of Ordnance Factory Board (OFB) involved in manufacture of Ordnance and Shells for Arty Guns of all Calibre, B Class vehicles etc. Was instrumental in establishing 155 mm Shell prodn. in OFys. Also headed the OFB Regional Marketing Centre at New Delhi wherein assisted OFB in Exports of Arms & Ammunition esp engaged with Foreign Missions, Indian Missions and MEA.
A Graduate in Elect Engg from MNREC( now NIT) Allahabad India and PGDM( Operations Mgmnt) from MDI Gurgaon India. Besides had also attended short term courses at Cambridge Univ UK, HKS Harvard Univ, US, National Defense University, Washington, Asia Pacific Centre for Strategic Studies ( APCSS) of US Pacific Command at Hawaii etc.
Was a member of the IOFS. After VRS pursuing efforts to share the experiences gained so far through the Think factory, mentoring young Technocrats in New Age Technologies etc, so can contribute to meet challenges in these fields.
